As February ushers in with its chill, Pokemon Go fans have something exciting to look forward to with the upcoming event, Scattered to the Wind. This event promises to be a delightful way to shake off the winter blues and step out into the crisp air with a bounty of new rewards, research opportunities, and more. One of the highlights is the increased chance to encounter the shiny versions of Scatterbug, Spewpa, and Vivillon, making this a must-attend for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

What can you expect from Scattered to the Wind? For starters, you'll enjoy double XP for spinning a Pokestop, and an impressive five times XP for your first spin of the day. You'll also have the opportunity to open up to 40 Gifts per day, or 60 if you've got the Eggs-pedition Access: February ticket. And, keep an eye out for an increased chance to meet the Shiny Pidgey!

But the excitement doesn't stop there. By pinning postcards received from players around the globe, you'll enhance your chances of meeting the new Shiny versions of Scatterbug, Spewpa, and Vivillon. Along with these, the event introduces new Field Research Task rewards and Paid Timed Research, adding more layers of engagement to your Pokemon Go experience.

Out of your shellPokemon Go continues its tradition of encouraging players to explore the real world through augmented reality, and this event is no exception. While the focus on international postcard collecting might seem unusual, it adds a unique twist to the game. So, mark your calendars because Scattered to the Wind will only be available from February 18th to the 20th. Make sure to participate and capitalize on the fresh opportunities while they last.
