Old School RuneScape Launches the Royal Titans with a Dual Boss Encounter

The latest Royal Titans update in Old School RuneScape brings an epic clash of fire and ice to the game, and you can now immerse yourself in this thrilling battle. Were you eagerly anticipating these new PvM bosses? Dive in to learn all about them.

The Royal Titans Have Arrived in Old School RuneScape

In this fiery showdown, the fire giants, led by their formidable leader Brandr, the Fire Queen, are on a quest for expansion. Their ambitions lead them to the Asgarnian Ice Cave, a territory already claimed by the ice giants, who are commanded by Eldric, the King of Frost. This territorial dispute sparks a legendary confrontation between these two colossal forces.

As a player, you're thrown into the heart of this epic battle, facing a Dual Boss encounter with both Brandr and Eldric simultaneously. To emerge victorious, you must adeptly switch your gear to exploit their elemental vulnerabilities. Going solo is an option, but teaming up with a friend can make the challenge more manageable and enjoyable.

Defeating the Royal Titans rewards you with a chance to obtain the coveted Twinflame Staff, a potent weapon, and the Giantsoul Amulet. The latter is an exclusive teleport item that allows instant travel to any of the three major giant bosses: Obor, Bryophyta, and the Royal Titans themselves.

What Are the Special Goodies?

The Royal Titans battle introduces a plethora of exciting rewards. You can earn valuable Prayer Scrolls, Desiccated Pages, and even a unique Fire & Ice giant pet. For those focused on Slayer XP, a new Slayer Alternative Task has been added, allowing you to gain experience by battling both fire and ice giants while tackling the boss.

Coinciding with this update, Old School RuneScape is gearing up to celebrate its 12th birthday on February 19th. Expect a special birthday livestream, in-game decorations, and new cosmetic rewards to mark the occasion.

With the debut of the Royal Titans, 2025 promises to be a monumental year for Old School RuneScape. You can join the fray by downloading the game from the Google Play Store and diving into these new battles.
