Hazelight Studios has unveiled an exhilarating two-player cooperative adventure that promises to surpass their previous endeavors. The developers have teased stunning locales, a profound narrative, and a plethora of tasks designed to deepen player immersion. In addition to the central storyline, players can delve into side quests that unveil a host of surprises. These additional missions not only introduce new areas to explore but also offer unique activities, enhancing the exploration of the Split Fiction universe. Fans are buzzing with excitement, dubbing this project as one of the year's most eagerly awaited co-op games.
Three years following the launch of It Takes Two, Hazelight Studios released a substantial update for their cooperative adventure game in May. The full scope of changes was shared on Steam, where the developers detailed how the game has pivoted to better cater to the core Steam audience. A significant update is that the game no longer requires the EA launcher to run and is now fully optimized for the Steam Deck.
Players can now easily invite their Steam friends to join the adventure. Moreover, Steam Family Sharing is now fully supported. While an EA account is still necessary for connecting to EA servers, local play through Steam Remote Play no longer mandates an EA account, offering more flexibility to players.
