If you're new to the Archer class, this section is for you. As an Archer, your most effective strategy is to maintain a safe distance from your enemies and rely on your arrows for damage. While Archers can deal significant damage, they are not built to withstand hits well.

Archers wear Medium armor, which offers more protection than Light armor but less than Heavy armor. Unlike Magicians or Priests who can use protective spells or wear heavy armor, Archers depend on others to absorb damage, including other players and, crucially, their Pets.

Currently, there's little reason to choose Sharpshooter over Beast Tamer. While firing multiple arrows sounds appealing, the Beast Tamer's Alpha Predator passive ability is invaluable. This ability lets you tame unique beasts like Bears, Adult Spiders, Crocodiles, and Mud Crabs, making Beast Tamers exceptionally resilient and capable of soloing many group activities.
