Touchgrind X 2.0 Update: Revamped BMX Rider with New Features

Author : Adam May 12,2025

If you're new to the world of BMX stunt simulators, now is the perfect time to dive into Touchgrind X, especially with the launch of its highly-anticipated 2.0 update. Developed by Illusion Labs, this update brings a host of thrilling new features that are sure to excite both new and returning players.

One of the standout additions is Freestyle Mode, which allows you to explore the game's maps at your own pace, performing tricks and stunts without the pressure of racing. This mode is ideal for honing your skills or simply enjoying the scenery at a leisurely pace. With new maps being added regularly, Freestyle Mode offers a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with the environments before tackling more challenging trials.

The update also introduces the Trick Combo System, enabling you to chain together various stunts for higher scores. This system adds a new layer of complexity and fun to the gameplay. Additionally, players can now enjoy Tricktionary Achievements, a Qualifier Series designed to help newcomers get started, and enhanced matchmaking for a better multiplayer experience.

Illusion Labs showcased this update at PGC London earlier this year, giving us a sneak peek into what was to come. As someone new to Touchgrind X, I'm thrilled to be introduced to it through such a substantial update. Whether you're an experienced player or a complete novice, the 2.0 update makes now an excellent time to jump into this Trials-like BMX simulator and see how many stunts you can master.
