Tron Returns in Disney Speedstorm Season 12: Release Date Revealed

Author : Sarah Apr 14,2025

Disney Speedstorm is gearing up for an electrifying 12th season, launching on March 6th, and this time, it's all about the iconic sequel, Tron: Legacy! Fans of the franchise will be thrilled to see beloved characters like Quorra, Sam Flynn, Rinzler, and more debut as playable racers, each equipped with distinctive neon-soaked weaponry, including the iconic identity disks.

While the absence of the legendary lightcycles might disappoint some, the new season, titled "On the Grid," compensates with a host of exciting additions. Racers will navigate stylish karts instead, but the thrill remains undiminished. New Crew Members such as Kevin Flynn, ISO, and Jarvis join the fray, enhancing the gameplay experience. Plus, a brand-new track inspired by the Tron universe awaits eager players.

ytNo lightcycles? Indeed, the omission of lightcycles is notable, but Disney Speedstorm's Season 12 more than makes up for it with its rich offerings. Each of the four new racers comes with unique weaponry and ultimates, promising dynamic and engaging races.

Mark your calendars for March 6th, as this latest plunge into the Grid will be available across all platforms. If you're looking to get a head start, don't forget to check out our Disney Speedstorm tier list for insights on the best racers to use.
