"Valhalla Survival Unveils Three New Heroes and Skill in Latest Update"

Author : Daniel May 26,2025

If you're a fan of Lionheart Studio's hack-'n-slash roguelike, Valhalla Survival, and have been eagerly awaiting fresh content, the latest update won't disappoint. Lionheart has introduced three new heroes, each with unique abilities, and a new skill called Ballista to enhance your gameplay experience.

The new heroes are Mani, Idis, and Sol. Mani, the Guardian of the Night, is a Warrior who uses golden flashes to attack multiple enemies, boosting both defense and attack power through gigantification. Idis, the fate-weaving Sorceress, can summon the legendary tree Yggdrasil, which reduces damage and restores HP for allies in proximity. Lastly, Sol, the Lightbringer Rogue, summons Valkyries—referred to as 'the sun's warriors'—who fire arrows to suppress nearby foes. These heroes will be essential, especially with the introduction of Nightmare Mode.

ytNightmarishNightmare Mode is an even more challenging version of the game, available once you've completed Chapter 3 Stage 30. Brace yourself for brutal challenges that will test your skills to the limit. After conquering Nightmare Mode, you can take on the new Eternal Battlefield boss raid, now available for players.

To aid you in these new trials, the Ballista skill has been added. This skill supports short-range heroes by deploying a turret that shoots long-range piercing arrows. Additionally, the Accessory Gem Socket System has been introduced, allowing you to enhance your accessories and other equipment with gems.

If Valhalla Survival still leaves you craving more roguelike action, mobile gaming is the perfect place to explore. Check out our list of the top 25 best roguelikes and roguelites on iOS and Android for a range of experiences from fantasy to sci-fi and beyond!
