What Can You Do After Completing Assassin's Creed Shadows?

In short, almost everything you could do before! Assassin's Creed Shadows' vast open world is packed with side content. Completing the main quest doesn't lock this content; feel free to explore feudal Japan to your heart's content.

Post-launch, weekly challenges will be added via the Animus, providing ongoing gameplay even after achieving 100% completion.

Assassin's Creed Shadows: Epilogue and Endgame Explained

Even after the credits roll, the story isn't necessarily over. In my playthrough, the credits rolled after completing the Shinbakufu Objective Board and Yasuke and Naoe's main quests. However, the Act 3 and Epilogue trophies remained unclaimed. To unlock the true ending and epilogue, complete Naoe, Yasuke, and Junjiro's personal stories. Afterwards, return to the Hideout and speak with Tomiko to trigger the complete ending and associated achievements.

Exclusive gear awaits, too. Players earn Assassin-themed armor for Naoe and Templar-themed armor for Yasuke towards the game's conclusion. These sets offer perks enhancing each protagonist's unique playstyle and boast designs that will resonate with longtime Assassin's Creed fans.

Endgame content allows players to continue progressing beyond the credits, reaching the game's maximum level cap.

What's Next for Assassin's Creed Shadows?

While the main story concludes at launch, future content is planned. The Animus will receive updates with new content, and the in-game store will likely be updated with new items. A story expansion, "Claws of Awaji," is slated for later in 2025, adding over 10 hours of gameplay on the Island of Awaji.
