Code Geass: Lost Stories Ending Its Global Journey On Mobile Soon!

The strategic tower defense game, Code Geass: Lost Stories, is ceasing global mobile operations. While the Japanese version will continue, the global servers are officially shutting down on August 29th, 2024. This means no new downloads, in-app purchases, or account access will be available after this date. The game's global social media presence will also cease on the same day. Launched globally in September 2023, the game's short lifespan is attributed to low download numbers and less-than-stellar global reviews. Many licensed anime gacha games struggle to maintain a significant player base outside Japan, a factor likely contributing to this decision. Japanese players can still access the game via the Google Play Store. Meanwhile, the developers haven't explicitly stated the reasons for the shutdown.
