Confirmed: Marvel Rivals will be getting 2 heroes every 3 months

NetEase Games keeps Marvel Rivals fresh with regular updates. The plan is for a new update approximately every six weeks, introducing two new heroes each quarter. This ensures consistent new content to keep players engaged.

Game director Guangyun Chen explained that each season's update is divided. One hero is added in the first half, and another in the second.

This approach maintains player and audience interest. Beyond new heroes, updates will include maps, storylines, and objectives. Previously revealed characters include the upcoming Blade and Altron (leaked information). The Fantastic Four's full team appearance has also been announced.

GameLook, a Chinese publication, reported worldwide revenue of approximately $100 million, with a significant portion from the Chinese market. This marks a substantial move by Marvel, a film industry giant, into the gaming sector.

Marvel Rivals successfully filled a void in the hero-shooter genre following the less-than-stellar reception of Square Enix's Avengers. NetEase delivered a high-quality heroic shooter with a compelling roster of characters, earning positive reviews at launch.
