TouchArcade Rating: Following the mobile release of Coromon, the popular monster-collecting game from TRAGsoft, a roguelite spin-off is on the horizon. Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free) will launch next year on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android. This new title aims to combine the original game's turn-based combat with roguelite elements, promising endless replayability within its monster-collecting gameplay loop. The Steam page highlights 10 ever-changing biomes, 7 playable characters, over 130 monsters, and more. Check out the official announcement trailer below:
The original Coromon is available for free on mobile. It will be interesting to see how Coromon: Rogue Planet performs on mobile, and whether its release aligns with the Switch and Steam versions. You can wishlist Coromon: Rogue Planet on Steam now. While I haven't played Coromon recently, Coromon: Rogue Planet's gameplay sounds more engaging. Based on the Steam screenshots, it seems ideally suited for short bursts of play. In the meantime, you can download the original Coromon for free on iOS. What are your thoughts on Coromon: Rogue Planet so far? Have you played the original Coromon?
