Crunchyroll Brings Nonogram-Style Puzzle PictoQuest To Android

Crunchyroll's Newest Offering: PictoQuest, a Quirky Puzzle RPG

Anime streaming giant Crunchyroll has launched a new mobile game, PictoQuest, an exclusive puzzle RPG available on Android. This retro-styled game is only accessible to Crunchyroll Mega Fan and Ultimate Fan subscribers.

What is PictoQuest?

PictoQuest transports players to Pictoria, a land where legendary paintings have vanished. Players must recover these paintings by solving picross-style puzzles. The gameplay blends picross puzzles (filling grids based on numerical clues) with RPG elements. Enemies attack while puzzles are solved, and a health bar acts as a timer. Players earn gold to purchase healing items and power-ups in the in-game shop. Additional missions are available from villagers located at the end of the world map.

For Crunchyroll Subscribers Only

While lacking traditional RPG features like leveling or skill trees, PictoQuest offers a compelling casual gaming experience. If you're a Crunchyroll Mega Fan or Ultimate Fan subscriber and enjoy picross-style puzzles, PictoQuest is a free download from the Google Play Store.
