Author : Layla Apr 02,2025

Kabam is rolling out exciting updates for Marvel Contest of Champions, launching the Dark Phoenix Saga, introducing new Champions, and unveiling a new character type called Eidols. This month also highlights the powerful women of the game, offering players a chance to influence a future Champion rework.

Jean Grey and Bastion are the latest Champions to join The Contest, each bringing unique abilities and a thrilling new storyline. Jean Grey becomes available on March 13th, followed by Bastion on March 27th. The Dark Phoenix Saga begins on March 3rd, challenging Jean Grey and the X-Men to confront dangerous variants in a brand-new quest.

The lore of Marvel Contest of Champions continues to expand with the introduction of more Eidols, furthering the Founders' narrative. Following the debut of Isophyne in December 2024, three more Eidols will be introduced throughout 2025, each with a unique sourcing system. The next Eidol, Lumatrix, will be available from March 5th to June 4th.

ytLumatrix, designed by The Founders, serves as a master infiltrator with capabilities for spying, sabotage, and assassination. Made of ISO-8 crystals, Lumatrix has remarkable light manipulation abilities. While it dazzles on the surface, it's a lethal weapon designed to eliminate enemies discreetly.
