Dead by Daylight Mobile Shuts Down

NetEase's popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile, is officially ending its service. After four years, this mobile adaptation of the hit 4v1 survival horror title will be shutting down. While the PC and console versions remain unaffected, the mobile game's final day is March 20th, 2025.

Dead by Daylight Mobile offered players the thrilling experience of playing as either a Killer, sacrificing Survivors to The Entity, or a Survivor, desperately trying to evade capture. The game, initially released for PC in 2016, launched on mobile platforms in April 2020.

Dead by Daylight Mobile's End of Service (EOS) Timeline:

  • January 16th, 2025: The game will be removed from app stores.
  • March 20th, 2025: Servers will officially shut down.

Players who already have the game installed can continue playing until the March 20th shutdown. NetEase will provide details on the refund process for in-app purchases on January 16th, 2025, adhering to regional laws.

For those wishing to continue their Dead by Daylight experience, the PC and console versions offer a welcoming package for new players. Furthermore, loyalty rewards await mobile players who transfer to the PC or console versions, acknowledging their previous in-game spending and progress.

Before the servers go offline, download Dead by Daylight Mobile from the Google Play Store to experience the chilling gameplay for yourself. Also, be sure to check out our article on the new dungeon-building game, Tormentis Dungeon RPG, available on Android.
