Deadpool's Diner Returns in Marvel Snap's Norse Mythology Update

Author : Claire Mar 27,2025

The heat is on in Marvel Snap, with Surtur and his fiery crew from Muspelheim bringing the sizzle to the card battler. A recent update, released just a few weeks ago, has introduced a wave of exciting new content, including fresh characters and locations. Alongside these additions, a fan-favorite event has made its triumphant return and is now live in the game.

Deadpool’s Diner is back in Marvel Snap and will be available until December 3rd. If you're new to this mode, get ready to dive into a series of escalating challenges where you'll bet your stash of Bubs at each table. As you win, you'll advance to higher stakes tables, each offering bigger rewards. And yes, we mean *steaks*—Deadpool's humor at its finest! Reaching the top tier will earn you exclusive rewards, including King Eitri and a unique Jane Foster variant illustrated by Andrea Guardino. Since this mode is separate from the traditional ladder matches, it's a fun, low-pressure way to experiment with quirky mechanics and enjoy the game.

In addition to the event, the update has introduced Surtur, the fire giant and harbinger of Ragnarok. His card brings a powerful ability to Marvel Snap: when you play a card with 10 or more Power, Surtur gains +3 Power. Building a deck around this ability promises explosive gameplay.

Surtur isn't alone in his quest to dominate the Nine Realms. He's joined by a roster of new Series 5 characters, including Frigga, Malekith, Fenris Wolf, and Gorr the God Butcher. The dwarf king Eitri will also join the fray in December as a Series 4 card. To see how these new additions stack up, check out our comprehensive *Marvel Snap tier list*!

The Norse theme continues with two new locations: Valhalla and Yggdrasil. Valhalla will repeat On Reveal abilities after turn 4, while Yggdrasil will boost all cards at a different location by +1 Power after each turn, adding strategic depth to your matches.

Don't miss out on the fun—head over to Deadpool’s Diner now by downloading Marvel Snap for free. For more details on the update, be sure to read the official patch notes.
