Devil\'s Purge is going free-to-play and expanding its soundtrack

Author : Bella Mar 04,2025

Devil's Purge, the adrenaline-fueled augmented reality (AR) heavy metal shooter, is receiving a massive update! Get ready for even more electrifying music and the best part – it's now free-to-play!

Dive into the initial levels (over 60 in total!) and unleash hellfire upon demonic hordes. Developed by Ontop, this AR shooter puts you in the heart of the action, battling demons and the Devil himself, all to the rhythm of a blistering heavy metal soundtrack.

Previously hesitant? Now's your chance! The already intense soundtrack is expanding, and the game is adopting a shareware model. Experience the initial levels for free, with the option to purchase the full game to unlock all the action.

Forget static aiming! Devil's Purge demands movement. Dodge attacks, expose enemy weaknesses, and experience a unique combat system unlike anything in the AR gaming space. This isn't your average Pokemon Go experience – unless you count battling demons as a key feature.

Unleash the Fury!

This update boasts a plethora of new tracks from incredible independent metal artists such as Avesso, Visceral, Zero Massive, Tales for the Unspoken, and many more, adding to the already killer soundtrack. With over 60 levels and a customizable equipment system that utilizes resources from previous playthroughs, the time to conquer Hell is NOW!

The free-to-play transition begins today! Download Devil's Purge on the iOS App Store.
