Disney Mirrorverse Announces EOS By The End Of This Year

Disney Mirrorverse, the mobile action RPG featuring a unique blend of Disney and Pixar characters, is shutting down. Developer Kabam announced the game's end-of-service (EOS) date as December 16th, 2024.

The game has already been removed from the Google Play Store, and in-app purchases are disabled. Players have approximately three months remaining to enjoy the game before the servers are permanently closed.

A Look Back at Disney Mirrorverse

Launched in June 2022, Disney Mirrorverse offered a compelling action RPG experience with reimagined Disney and Pixar characters. Despite initial excitement, the game's extended beta period and infrequent content updates contributed to player attrition. The demanding shard collection system, requiring significant time investment or in-game spending to fully develop characters, also proved challenging for many. However, the game's character designs and graphics were widely praised.

The abrupt EOS announcement, following a recent content update introducing Cinderella as a playable character, surprised many players. This isn't Kabam's first game closure; they previously shut down Transformers: Forged to Fight and a Marvel Contest of Champions spin-off.
