Dragonkin: The Banished A New Era Begins with Demo and Extensive Update Plans

Eko Software and NACON have released a demo and detailed roadmap for their action RPG, Dragonkin: The Banished, currently in Steam Early Access. The demo, available until March 3rd, 2025, as part of Steam Next Fest, showcases the prologue and first chapter. Players can choose from three distinct heroes—Knight, Oracle, and Barbarian—each accompanied by four Vermplings, cooperative companions. The demo also features the innovative Bloodline Grid skill system, endgame hunts, and initial hub city upgrades.

The developers have a packed schedule for the coming year. Spring updates will bring new abilities, enhanced endgame content, a new endgame activity, and improved hub city features. Summer will see the addition of a new hero, more skills, and expanded endgame challenges. Autumn's update is a significant one, introducing multiplayer functionality alongside continued refinement of the Bloodline Grid and hub city.

Dragonkin: The Banished plunges players into a world tainted by ancient dragon blood. Players guide a legendary warrior, battling monstrous creatures and confronting powerful Dragonlords. Character progression hinges on character growth, equipment upgrades, and Vermpling evolution, all enhanced by the strategic customization options of the Bloodline Grid.

Dragonkin: The Banished enters Steam Early Access on March 6th, 2025, with a full release planned for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
