Here's a summary of the changes:

Bug Fixes:

  • Resolved an issue preventing access to the Cartwalker Machine after transferring characters from solo league.
  • Addressed multiple bugs in local cooperative mode where Player 2 could incorrectly unlock Player 1's UI items, such as high-level maps.
  • Fixed a bug in local cooperative mode hindering Player 2's ability to quickly move between control points.

New Features:

  • Introduced up to five revival attempts in the Distorted Possessions area, scaling with difficulty.
  • Added up to five revival attempts to the Olroth, the Source of the Fall, encounter, scaling with difficulty.
  • Implemented up to five revival attempts in the Essence of Nonexistence realm, scaling with difficulty. Dying before defeating the Host in The Mists now revives players in the boss arena, restarting the fight.
  • Introduced the ability to rename characters via the official website.

Grinding Gear Games continues to prioritize player experience, demonstrating their commitment to post-launch support. Despite some initial launch challenges, Path of Exile 2 remains a top performer on Steam, and the developers are actively working to further enhance the game.
