Exclusive Emotes Are Up for Grabs as Squad Busters Bids Farewell to Win Streaks

Squad Busters is ditching Win Streaks! This means the days of climbing the endless win ladder for extra rewards are over. But don't worry, there's more to this update than just the removal of streaks.

Why the Change and When?

The Win Streak system, while initially intended to celebrate player skill, inadvertently created undue pressure and frustration for many. To improve the overall player experience, Squad Busters is removing Win Streaks starting December 16th. Your highest streak will remain on your profile as a memento of your accomplishments.

As a thank you for participating in the streak system, players who reached certain milestones (0-9, 10, 25, 50, and 100 wins) before December 16th will receive exclusive emotes.

Unfortunately, there will be no refunds for coins spent on Win Streaks. The developers cited maintaining game balance between free-to-play and paying players as the reason. These coins are crucial for obtaining characters from Reward Chests.

Player reaction to the change is mixed. Some welcome the reduced emphasis on pay-to-win mechanics, while others are less enthusiastic about the removal, particularly given the perceived underwhelming compensation.
