Assassin’s Creed’s Ezio Auditore da Firenze has been crowned the winner of Ubisoft Japan’s Character Awards, taking the grand prize in celebration of the company's 30th anniversary. This online competition, which ran from November 1st, 2024, allowed fans to vote for their top three favorite characters from Ubisoft's extensive catalog of games. The results were announced on Ubisoft Japan’s official website and X (formerly Twitter), with Ezio securing the top spot.

Celebrating With Special Wallpapers, Acrylic Sets, And A Body Pillow
To celebrate Ezio's victory, Ubisoft Japan has created a special page featuring the beloved character in a unique style. Fans can also download four exclusive digital wallpapers for their PCs and smartphones, showcasing different aspects of Ezio. In addition, 30 lucky fans will have the chance to win a special acrylic stand set through a lottery, while 10 others will receive an exclusive 180 cm jumbo body pillow featuring Ezio.
The top ten characters from the poll were also highlighted, showcasing the diversity of Ubisoft's beloved characters. Following Ezio, Watch Dogs’ Aiden Pearce took second place, with Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag’s Edward James Kenway coming in third. In addition to the character poll, Ubisoft also conducted a separate poll for their game series. Assassin’s Creed emerged as the top franchise, followed by Rainbow Six Siege in second place and Watch Dogs in third. The Division series and Far Cry rounded out the top five, showcasing the strong fanbase and popularity of Ubisoft's diverse gaming portfolio.
