Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth have received updates that fix the controller issue

Fixes for Final Fantasy VII Remake are now available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and PlayStation 5. This update addresses controller vibration issues. The game follows Cloud Strife, a former SOLDIER, as he fights alongside Avalanche to prevent Shinra Electric Power Company from destroying the planet.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the sequel continuing the story after the escape from Midgar, receives update 1.080. This update enhances the game's atmosphere and realism, improving the haptic feedback. The PC version launches January 23, 2025. This second installment in the trilogy expands the story and emphasizes exploration.

While Final Fantasy XVI initially underperformed in May 2024, sales eventually slowed, ultimately missing its projected financial targets. Specific sales figures remain undisclosed. Similarly, Square Enix has not revealed sales data for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which also fell short of internal projections.

However, the company clarified that it doesn't consider the sales of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth a complete failure. Furthermore, they remain confident that Final Fantasy XVI can still meet its goals within the planned 18-month timeframe.
