Fortnite Brings Back Rare Superhero Skin After More Than a Year

Fortnite's Wonder Woman skin makes a triumphant return to the item shop after a year-long hiatus! Fans can once again acquire this popular superhero cosmetic, along with the Athena's Battleaxe pickaxe and Golden Eagle Wings glider. This marks another exciting DC crossover for the battle royale game, following the December return of several other DC characters.

Epic Games' Fortnite continues its impressive run of collaborations, spanning various franchises across pop culture and beyond. Recent partnerships have even extended to clothing brands like Nike and Air Jordan. This latest DC comeback highlights the game's ongoing commitment to providing players with diverse and exciting cosmetic options.

The Wonder Woman skin's return, confirmed by prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX after a 444-day absence, includes both individual and bundled purchase options. The skin itself costs 1,600 V-Bucks, while the complete bundle is discounted to 2,400 V-Bucks.

The resurgence of Wonder Woman follows the recent return of other beloved DC characters, including Starfire and Harley Quinn. Furthermore, Chapter 6 Season 1's Japan-themed content introduced unique variant skins for Batman (Ninja Batman) and Harley Quinn (Karuta Harley Quinn).

With Fortnite's Chapter 6 Season 1 embracing a Japanese theme, several crossovers with Japanese media are planned. The Dragon Ball skins have made a temporary comeback, and a Godzilla skin is slated for release later this month. Rumors also point towards a future Demon Slayer crossover. The Wonder Woman skin's return adds another layer of excitement to this already action-packed season.
