Fortnite Leaks Hint at Devil May Cry Crossover

Fortnite x Devil May Cry Collaboration Imminent, According to Leaks

Recent leaks suggest a highly anticipated crossover between Fortnite and Devil May Cry is on the horizon. While Fortnite leaks are common, and not all pan out, the persistent buzz surrounding this particular collaboration, fueled by years of fan speculation, is gaining significant traction.

The possibility of a Devil May Cry collaboration arrives alongside other anticipated additions, including Hatsune Miku. While Fortnite's character surveys often generate outlandish suggestions, a return to established partnerships seems more likely. Given Fortnite's previous collaborations with Capcom (notably featuring Resident Evil characters), a Devil May Cry crossover is a strong contender for many fans.

Reliable Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR, citing information from Loolo_WRLD and Wensoing, supports the imminent arrival of this collaboration. Interestingly, Wensoing points out that XboxEra co-founder Nick Baker initially mentioned this rumor in 2023. Since then, multiple sources have independently corroborated the information, strengthening the likelihood of an official announcement.

Timing and Character Speculation

With numerous updates expected for Fortnite in the coming weeks, some speculate the Devil May Cry collaboration might launch after Chapter 6 Season 1. While the delayed confirmation of the leaks has raised some skepticism, Nick Baker's successful prediction of previous collaborations (Doom and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) lends credibility to this rumor.

Character selection remains a point of discussion. Dante and Vergil are the most obvious choices, given their iconic status in the Devil May Cry franchise. However, as the recent Cyberpunk 2077 collaboration demonstrated, Fortnite's choices can be surprising. The inclusion of Female V in that crossover, unexpected by many, suggests the possibility of other Devil May Cry characters like Lady, Trish, Nico, Nero, or even V appearing as skins. Fortnite's pattern of offering male and female options in crossovers, coupled with past Capcom collaborations, supports this theory.

The renewed attention to this leak has generated considerable excitement, and many anticipate further details emerging soon.
