Fortnite Reveals Hatsune Miku Collab

Hatsune Miku is coming to Fortnite! The virtual pop star will debut on January 14th, bringing her iconic style to the battle royale.

Two Miku skins are planned: her classic look, available in the item shop, and a NEKO Miku skin, obtainable via a new Festival Pass. This pass, part of Fortnite's rhythm-based Festival game mode, offers quests and rewards, mirroring the standard battle pass. Additional Miku-themed cosmetics and music are also expected.

This collaboration fits perfectly with Fortnite's current Chapter 6 Season 1 ("Hunters") theme, drawing heavily from Japanese aesthetics. The addition of Miku, a real-life and fictional sensation, complements the season's Japanese-inspired weapons and environment, further enhancing the immersive experience. This follows a trend of Fortnite featuring popular celebrities and fictional characters, expanding its diverse roster. The timing is also notable, preceding Godzilla's upcoming Fortnite appearance.
