Garena Teams up with TiMi to Bring Delta Force to Mobile Globally

Delta Force, the tactical FPS formerly known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, is making a global comeback courtesy of Garena. A PC Open Beta kicks off December 5th, 2024, with mobile open beta following in 2025.

Originally developed by NovaLogic, the project was later acquired by Tencent's TiMi Studios (creators of Call of Duty Mobile). Garena is now partnering with TiMi for the game's global launch. Cross-progression between PC and mobile is a key feature. The 2025 rollout will encompass Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Brazil, Central and South America, the Middle East, and North Africa.

Garena's Delta Force Offerings:

The game boasts two core modes:

  • Warfare: Large-scale 32v32 battles across land, sea, and air, with squads of four.
  • Operations: A high-stakes extraction shooter mode for teams of three. Players scavenge for loot, evade enemies, and fight to reach an extraction point before time runs out. Loot can be used in future matches or exchanged for currency. Eliminating opponents yields their gear. Bosses, restricted zones, and special missions add to the challenge. A rare item, the MandelBrick, unlocks exclusive skins but reveals your location to other players.

A Nod to the Original:

Garena and TiMi's Delta Force features enhanced, realistic graphics and retains the tactical gameplay the series is renowned for. Fans of the original 1998 release are sure to find it nostalgic.
