Genshin Impact Leak Teases Version 6.0 Zone

Summary

  • A recent Genshin Impact leak suggests the location of Nasha Town and Nod-Krai in Version 6.0.
  • Snezhnaya may feature an autonomous province, Nod-Krai, which will serve as a crucial trade hub.
  • HoYoverse is likely to split Snezhnaya into multiple regions due to its vast size, with plans for future expansion.

A recent leak from Genshin Impact's beta servers has shed light on the potential locations of Nasha Town and Nod-Krai, both set to be introduced in Version 6.0. While the focus remains on Natlan, the developers have begun adding placeholders for Snezhnaya, the highly anticipated Nation of Cryo and the domain of the Tsaritsa. Snezhnaya is expected to be the largest region yet, surpassing even Sumeru and Liyue, extending from Natlan in the west to enveloping Fontaine in the north.

Initial leaks suggested that Nod-Krai might be a standalone region in Genshin Impact Version 6.0, but recent datamining has confirmed its specific location. As an autonomous province within Snezhnaya, Nod-Krai acts as a vital trade hub, linking the Cryo Nation with the rest of Teyvat. According to Liben, Nod-Krai lies at the southernmost tip of Snezhnaya, and it's probable that the Traveler and Paimon will access this province from either Fontaine or Natlan.

Leakflow, Extra, and The_Strifemaster have shared footage from the latest beta build for Version 5.4, revealing a new landmass directly beneath the western waterfalls of Fontaine. This landmass appears to connect to Mont Esus, which has been rumored to be part of a potential Fontaine map expansion. While it's unclear if Mont Esus will be released before or during Version 6.0, all signs point towards Nasha Town and Nod-Krai being central to the next phase of the game.

Genshin Impact: What is Nod-Krai?

Nod-Krai is both a region and a city situated on Snezhnaya's southern border. Governed to some extent by the Voynich Guild, it is known for its lawless nature. The Fatui maintain a stronghold in Nod-Krai, led by the infamous Dottore, one of the most recognized Fatui Harbingers. Nasha Town, a significant settlement within the province, is home to people who possess a power older than Teyvat's seven Elements.

The decision to split Snezhnaya into multiple regions might be contentious, but it's a practical move given the region's enormous size and the time required for both narrative and development. With Version 5.3 concluding the Archon Quest in Natlan, upcoming patches are expected to gradually introduce elements of Snezhnaya. While Capitano's storyline remains uncertain, Natlan will introduce Skirk as a playable character, who has connections to one of the Five Sinners of Khaenri'ah. Barring any delays, Version 6.0 is slated for release on September 10, 2025.
