Following the pre-installation rollout earlier this week, HoYoverse has launched the highly anticipated Genshin Impact (Free) version 5.0 update, "Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn," across mobile, PC, and PlayStation platforms worldwide. This major update introduces the new nation of Natlan, accessible to players of all levels, along with exciting new characters like Mualani, and eagerly awaited reruns for Raiden Shogun. The first Genshin Impact 5.0 banner features Mualani, Kachina, and Kaedehara Kazuha, while banner 2 showcases Kinich and Raiden Shogun. Learn more about the enhanced visuals in Genshin Impact 5.0 here and explore the complete patch notes here. Check out the new Genshin Impact trailers for Mualani and more below:

iOS users who pre-installed the update should experience minimal additional download; however, the game may require some time to reorganize existing resources upon login. New players can download Genshin Impact for free on the App Store for iOS here and on Google Play for Android here. The PC version is available on the official website here and the Epic Games Store. iOS players using iOS 14.5 or iPadOS 14.5 and later can enjoy Genshin Impact with PS5 and Xbox Series X|S controllers. Previously, we featured Genshin Impact as our Game of the Week upon its release, awarding it our 2020 Game of the Year and highlighting it as one of the best iOS games for controller play.
