Genshin Impact Version 5.5 \"Day of the Flame's Return\" Drops Soon with New Challenges and Features

Genshin Impact is set to ignite the gaming world with its upcoming Version 5.5 update, aptly named "Day of the Flame's Return," scheduled for release on March 26th. This update promises to intensify the exploration of Natlan, introducing a plethora of new content that will enhance both the storyline and gameplay experience.

One of the most anticipated features is the addition of controller support for Android devices, marking a significant upgrade for mobile gamers. For a detailed list of compatible controllers, you can check out the official announcement here.

What Does Genshin Impact Version 5.5 Have in Store?

Players will delve deeper into the southwestern part of Natlan, uncovering a new tribe, a massive volcano, and fresh characters. The Great Volcano of Tollan, a site steeped in ancient secrets, houses a sacred city long dormant. As you navigate the magma-filled depths, your mission is to unravel the enigma of the "Flamelord's Blessing" and the mystery surrounding the Little One. Along your journey, you'll encounter the Collective of Plenty, a tribe that values physical prowess and integrates strength challenges into their daily lives.

Version 5.5 introduces two new playable characters to the Genshin Impact roster: Varesa and Iansan. Varesa, a 5-star Electro Catalyst user, brings a unique support role by restoring Phlogiston after food consumption. Meanwhile, Iansan, a 4-star Electro Polearm wielder and one of Natlan's six heroes, combines offensive capabilities with support, offering continuous healing through the Warming Up effect triggered by a teammate's Nightsoul Burst.

The first phase of Version 5.5's Event Wishes will feature Varesa and Iansan, alongside reruns for Xianyun, Xilonen, and Venti. Dive into the excitement with the trailer below:

The Bloomflower Trials Are Making a Comeback

In this update, you'll collaborate with Mavuika, Ifa, and other Natlan allies to aid a sick Saurian. Additionally, a new mini-game, "Saurian Treasure Seeker," challenges you to guide baby Saurians through obstacles to collect treasures, with the chance to invite Ororon for free upon participation.

For those seeking a challenge, a new boss, the Lava Dragon Statue, awaits in the volcanic fissures. You can download Genshin Impact from the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in this expansive update as soon as it's available.
