InZOI developers are taking a short New Year's break, but project lead Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim offered a sneak peek at upcoming features before their departure. Here's what's in store:

  • Facial Capture for Zois: Real-time facial capture for creating zois will be implemented, with a focus on streamlining the process for even easier character creation.

  • Pets: While highly requested, the pet feature won't be available at launch. It's slated for a later update.

  • Tall Buildings: Expect buildings up to 30 floors tall. While the engine supports taller structures, this limit ensures optimal game performance.

  • Gas Stations and Enhanced Combat: Gas stations will be included in the game world. The combat system has been significantly improved based on player feedback, moving beyond the initial "slap" mechanic to feature full-fledged fights with clear winners and losers.

  • Tutorial: A comprehensive tutorial will be added to help new players navigate the game mechanics.

Krafton still aims for an early access release of InZOI at the end of March, with no current plans for further delays.
