How to Join the Monster Hunter Wilds Beta: Dates, What’s Included, & More

2025 is shaping up to be a fantastic year for gaming, with Monster Hunter Wilds poised to launch in Q1. Before the official release, you'll have another chance to experience the thrill of the hunt during the second open beta. Here's everything you need to know:

Monster Hunter Wilds Second Open Beta: Dates

The Monster Hunter Wilds second open beta will run in two phases:

Phase 1: February 6th, 7:00 PM PT – February 9th, 6:59 PM PT Phase 2: February 13th, 7:00 PM PT – February 16th, 6:59 PM PT

Each phase lasts four days, giving you a total of eight days to explore the world of Monster Hunter Wilds. This extended playtime allows ample opportunity to experience the game's features and challenges. The beta will be available on PS5, Xbox, and PC via Steam.

How to Join the Beta

This is an open beta, meaning no pre-registration or sign-up is required. Simply search for "Monster Hunter Wilds" on your platform's digital storefront (PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, or Steam) closer to the start date and download the beta client.

What's New in the Monster Hunter Wilds Second Open Beta?

The highlight of the second open beta is the addition of the Gypceros hunt. All content from previous betas will also be available.
