One side quest, "A Good Scrub," in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* opens the door to a series of bathhouse-related quests, requiring you to track down some rather unusual items. This guide will show you exactly where to find something infested with fleas for Betty.
Pick Up ‘A Good Scrub’
The quest begins by speaking with Betty, the bathhouse owner. You'll find her in the southeast part of Kuttenberg, after inquiring about work with the innkeeper. Accept her offer to help find Matsek in Grund. Matsek is hesitant to be seen with the potential bathhouse employees, so you'll need to navigate to the courtyard where he's hiding. Talk to the three girls, mention Betty, and escort them back to the city.
Promote the Bathhouse
Next, Betty needs your help promoting her establishment. You'll work on a sales pitch with her, then shout it out at the grain market, horse market, vintners’ street, and merchants’ street. Remember, this needs to be done during the day.
Clean Up and Finish ‘A Good Scrub’
Before the alderman's inspection, you'll need to clean up the bathhouse. A quick clean is essential to avoid closure and ensure you can proceed with the next quest, "Ill Repute."
Finding Fleas for ‘Ill Repute’
After a successful inspection, speak with Betty again. She'll reveal the council's decision on the city's main bathhouse hinges on getting a competing bathhouse's councillor to leave. You'll need to discover his dislikes by talking to Meaty Mary, Katcha, and Little Lida.
This involves obtaining chamomile brew for the wine cask on the second floor of the rival bathhouse. Lida will only reveal the councillor's preference for fragrant oils after you provide her with a noblewoman's dress (obtainable from a tailor). Alternatively, you can sabotage this by lockpicking a cabinet on the third floor and stealing the oils.
Finally, Katcha mentions a past flea infestation. To find a flea-infested item, head to Kuttenberg's east gate. You'll discover a beggar camp there; check their sacks for a flea-infested blanket.
Return to the bathhouse and discreetly place the fleas in Councillor Naaz’s laundry basket and a clean laundry basket. Note that completing just one of these tasks might be enough to get the councillor to leave. Once this is done, you'll complete the quest and be ready for your next adventure, such as "Axe from the Lake."
