Krafton Unveils Isometric Anime Battle Royale: Tarasona

Author : Logan Jan 22,2025

Krafton quietly launched a new anime-style battle royale game, Tarasona: Battle Royale, currently in soft launch for Android users in India. This 3v3 isometric shooter features fast-paced, three-minute matches.

The game's anime aesthetic is prominent, showcasing colorful female characters with stylized armor and weaponry. Gameplay, however, appears somewhat rough around the edges in its early soft launch phase, with mechanics like stationary firing feeling unusually slow for a Krafton title.

Despite the less-than-polished feel, Tarasona offers distinctive character skills and abilities and simple, competitive gameplay. The developer's decision to softly launch the game with minimal fanfare is noteworthy. Future updates and expansion to new territories are anticipated in the coming months. For those seeking alternative battle royale experiences, a comprehensive list of similar titles on iOS and Android is readily available.
