Mortal Kombat Mobile Marks 10 Years with New Diamond, Gold Characters

Mortal Kombat Mobile is celebrating a major milestone—its 10th anniversary! Warner Bros International and NetherRealm Studios are pulling out all the stops with a massive update set to launch on March 25th. This celebration brings exciting new fighters, a reimagined Faction Wars mode, fresh challenge towers, and an abundance of anniversary-themed rewards for players to enjoy.

Celebrate A Decade Of Unrelenting Combat

The centerpiece of this update is the arrival of MK1 Geras, a powerful diamond-tier fighter who introduces a versatile combat style. With abilities such as power absorption, healing, and damage reflection, Geras promises to be a valuable addition to your roster. To unlock him, you’ll need to complete Realm Klash objectives or progress through the Kombat Pass.

Joining him is Klassic Skarlet, the first gold-tier fighter capable of reaching Level 5 ascension. Her skillset includes unblockable attacks, the unique Gash debuff, and the ability to steal blood droplets from opponents. She can be obtained via the Premium Plus Kombat Pass or earned through the standard version.

Realm Klash Replaces Faction Wars

Faction Wars has undergone a full transformation and now returns as Realm Klash. Instead of merely collecting Blood Rubies, players can now choose from five distinct realms and compete in two-week seasonal cycles to earn Realm Points. The mode also features visual enhancements, updated banners, improved leaderboards, and bug fixes that ensure a more balanced experience.

New ranks have been introduced: Elder God, God, and Demi God. These additions provide additional progression depth and prestige. Additionally, Blood Ruby Packs now include exclusive Kameo options and MK1 Geras-themed content.

New Challenges And Tower Of Time

The 10th Anniversary update also introduces the limited-time Tower of Time, running for two weeks and featuring 50 intense floors of combat. Alongside this, seven new Tower of Time equipment pieces become available for collection.

MK1 Smoke and MK1 Geras each receive their own Brutality equipment sets, enhancing their battlefield dominance. A Fusion Boost modifier has also been added, granting a power boost to your team’s lowest fused card to create a more balanced challenge.

In addition to the new tower, classic towers like the Klassic Tower, Dark Queen’s Tower, and Black Dragon Tower return for fans to relive past challenges with updated mechanics and rewards.

Free Anniversary Rewards Await

Starting April 1st, players will receive a free copy of each featured anniversary character every day for ten consecutive days. It's a generous gift to commemorate the occasion!

Three popular gold-tier fighters—Lizard Jade, Edenian Blood Sindel, and Klassic Smoke—are now eligible for ascension, offering deeper customization and power progression opportunities.

A decade of Mortal Kombat Mobile is no small achievement, and this update honors that legacy with one of the most feature-packed updates yet. Don’t miss out—download the game from the Google Play Store and jump into the action once the update goes live tomorrow.
