Marvel Rivals Patch 20250327: New Galacta's Quest Easter Egg and Hero Fixes Unveiled

Author : Charlotte May 18,2025

NetEase Games has unveiled the patch notes for the upcoming Marvel Rivals update, version 20250327, set to launch ahead of Season 2 in mid-April. This eagerly anticipated patch will roll out on Thursday, March 27, at 9am (UTC+0) without any server downtime, ensuring players can dive right into the action and experience the latest enhancements to their favorite heroes and maps.

A notable addition to the update is an exclusive April Fool's Easter egg tied to the Galacta’s Cosmic Quest board game event. This hidden surprise is only accessible to players who have already completed the event. NetEase teases that this reward will unlock a "hidden twist surprise," keeping fans on the edge of their seats until the reveal.

The update also brings significant improvements to the game's maps, particularly addressing clipping issues. While the specific maps aren't detailed, the team has confirmed fixing a glitch on the Hydra Charteris Base map that could result in teammates being revived outside the play area.

As Marvel Rivals wraps up Season 1 and gears up for Season 2, the patch introduces several hero-specific fixes. Notable heroes like Wolverine, Iron Fist, Iron Man, Loki, Doctor Strange, Magneto, and Human Torch receive targeted ability tweaks. Wolverine, in particular, sees substantial improvements to his Feral Leap and Ultimate, ensuring these abilities function more reliably.

Looking ahead to Season 2, set to launch on April 11, 2025, speculation is rife about new hero additions. Many fans anticipate a focus on the Marvel's Hellfire Gala, which could introduce characters like Blade and Emma Frost. NetEase has promised to add at least one new hero every half-season, keeping the roster fresh and exciting.

Fixes

All Platforms

General

1. Resolved an issue in Custom Game where a disconnected player's character would still appear on the Like page during match settlement.

Maps and Modes

1. Fixed several terrain issues that could cause characters to sometimes become stuck or clip into strange areas.

2. Squashed a glitch in the Hydra Charteris Base map where Rocket Raccoon's B.R.B. could sometimes revive teammates outside the play area due to terrain changes.

Heroes

1. Wolverine's Terrifying Pounce: Resolved an issue where the Hulk could sometimes have abnormal behavior after being catapulted into a terrain KO by Wolverine's Feral Leap. Now, the big guy gets the proper beatdown without any off-script environmental stunts!

2. Iron Fist's Wall-Climbing Whimsy: Fixed a glitch in Practice Range where Iron Fist wall-climbing was beyond expectations. The master of martial arts can now keep his acrobatic feats on track!

3. Iron Man's Teleportation Tangle: In Sanctum Sanctorum, Iron Man use of Hyper-Velocity followed immediately by portal entry could occasionally throw a wrench in the works—resulting in the ability to misfire and some off-color special effects. Now, Iron Man's high-tech strategy is as sleek as ever, letting him jet in and out as he pleases.

4. Loki-Doctor Strange's Forbidden Tech: Fixed an issue in Doom Match where Loki's transformation into Doctor Strange allowed the use of the forbidden Pentagram of Farallah. This minds-warping mix-up has been vanquished.

5. Magneto's Magnetic Moments: Resolved an issue in the post-match where Magneto's MVP could sometimes display some bizarre, offbeat visuals. The master of magnetism now commands his moments with true polar precision.

6. Wolverine's Ultimate with Pinpoint Precision: Fixed a snag in Wolverine's Ultimate Ability where, under high network latency, foes sent flying and slammed into the ground could sometimes end up in the wrong location. Now, every Last Stand lands exactly where it should.

7. Human Torch's Fiery Focus: Addressed a rare bug where the Human Torch's Primary Attack would sometimes miss its target entirely, leaving his incendiary prowess a little less scorching. With this fix, every burst of flame burns as brilliantly as intended—ensuring his heat is always on target!

Console

1. Eliminated a bug that sometimes caused the focus to unpredictably shift to earlier messages when opening the chat window.
