However, a partial rank reset is planned – a four-division demotion for all players. This decision has drawn criticism, as players understandably resent losing progress mid-season. The grind of ranked mode isn't appealing to everyone, and this reset risks alienating casual players.
The developers, however, remain receptive to player feedback. If the response is overwhelmingly negative, they've indicated a willingness to reconsider this rank reset policy.
