Microsoft Unveils Robust Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Wave 2 Lineup
Microsoft's Xbox Wire recently announced a substantial wave of new titles joining the Xbox Game Pass subscription service in January 2025. This announcement precedes Microsoft's Xbox Developer Direct on January 23rd, which will showcase several day-one Game Pass releases, including Doom: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and a yet-to-be-revealed fourth title.
The January 2025 Wave 2 kicks off on January 21st with the day-one release of Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. This snowy sequel to Lonely Mountains: Downhill features up to eight-player cross-platform multiplayer, allowing players to conquer the slopes cooperatively or competitively.
A flurry of additions arrives on January 22nd:
- Flock (Console) joins Game Pass Standard, offering a multiplayer co-op experience centered around collecting adorable flying creatures.
