Monster Hunter Wilds: February Open Beta Returns with New Monster and Content!

Missed the first Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta? A second chance arrives in early February! This expanded beta test offers players another opportunity to experience the game before its official launch on February 28th, 2025.

Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto announced the news via the official Monster Hunter YouTube channel. The beta will run in two sessions: February 6th-9th and February 13th-16th, available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

This second beta includes new content absent from the first, most notably the addition of the Gypceros monster, a series veteran. While character data carries over from the first beta and transfers to the full game, progress will not be saved. Participants receive in-game rewards: a Stuffed Felyne Teddy weapon charm and a special bonus item pack.
