All About Monsters: Continues Universe Series

In the world of gaming, rifts usually spell trouble. But Avid Games has embraced this chaos in Eerie Worlds, the highly anticipated sequel to Cards, the Universe and Everything. This tactical CCG retains the fun and educational aspects of its predecessor, but with a monstrous twist.

Monsters pour forth from rifts, and Avid Games has crafted a visually stunning array of creatures based on real-world mythological horrors.

The game boasts an impressive global scope, encompassing Japanese Yokai (like Jikininki and Kuchisake), Slavic monsters (such as Vodyanoy and Psoglav), and a host of other chilling creatures from Bigfoot and Mothman to El Chupacabra. Each card features detailed, well-researched descriptions, making the game both entertaining and educational.

Eerie Worlds features four Alliances (Grimbald, Zerrofel, Rivin, and Synnig) and multiple Hordes, adding significant strategic depth. Monsters may share some properties but differ in others, leading to diverse tactical possibilities.

Your monster collection, known as your Grimoire, can be upgraded by merging duplicate cards. The game starts with 160 base cards, with many more accessible through merging, and additional cards planned for the near future.

Avid Games has announced the addition of two more Hordes in the coming months, ensuring Eerie Worlds remains a consistently challenging and engaging experience.

Gameplay involves a deck of nine monster cards and one world card, played over nine 30-second turns. Players must carefully manage mana, exploit synergies, and make crucial decisions under pressure.
