Marvel has plans for Moon Knight's return to the MCU, but a second season of the Disney+ show isn't in the cards. Marvel Television head Brad Winderbaum told ComicBook that while a Season 2 isn't happening, fans can expect more of Oscar Isaac's character in future MCU projects. This shift in strategy reflects a change in Marvel Television's approach. Previously, the focus was on establishing characters through individual shows before integrating them into larger MCU narratives, as seen with Ms. Marvel leading to her role in The Marvels. Now, the approach is geared towards creating self-contained, annual series, more akin to traditional television programming. Winderbaum stated that while he'd love a Moon Knight Season 2, the future plans for the character will unfold differently. While Isaac voiced Moon Knight in Marvel's What If...?, there's currently no news on his return in live-action.
The MCU's upcoming TV show lineup includes Daredevil: Born Again (March), Ironheart (June), Eyes of Wakanda (August), Marvel Zombies (October), and Wonder Man (December). Recently, Marvel Television reportedly paused production on Nova, Strange Academy, and Terror, Inc., but Winderbaum mentioned exploring the possibility of a reunion for the street-level heroes of The Defenders (Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist).
