MythWalker adds Wyldevae tethering feature

NantGames has unveiled a major update for their acclaimed RPG MythWalker, introducing an innovative Tethering feature – the first of its kind in geolocation RPGs. This groundbreaking system eliminates solo play requirements, transforming how adventurers explore Mytherra.

How Does Tethering Revolutionize MythWalker Gameplay?

The Tethering system introduces cooperative gameplay that allows up to three players worldwide to team up for story quests, battles, and resource gathering. This synchronous multiplayer experience breaks geographical barriers – your London-based party members can explore your local map in real time alongside you.

This technological breakthrough fundamentally changes location-based RPG mechanics. Players are no longer confined to nearby in-game elements, dramatically expanding gameplay possibilities and social interaction.

Alongside Tethering, mysterious new enemies called Wyldevae have emerged across Mytherra. These deceptive fairy creatures appear enchanting but prove formidable opponents in battle.

Three distinct Wyldevae variants now inhabit different regions: mountain-dwelling Bergavae resembling moths, aquatic Strandavae near islands, and swamp-lurking Fennavae with dragonfly characteristics. Each variant offers unique loot drops and abilities, encouraging players to hunt them all. New story quests further explore these creatures' sudden appearance and mysterious origins.

New to MythWalker?

For newcomers, MythWalker is an innovative Android RPG blending fantasy with real-world exploration. Players can adventure physically or utilize in-game Navigators with Portal Energy for home play.

The story transports players to Mytherra, a magical realm mirroring Earth, where the enigmatic Child recruits them. Players undertake quests to uncover attacks threatening this parallel world while unraveling the profound connections between both dimensions.
