Nostalgic Gaming: Iconic 1994 PC and PS1 Classics Return

Microids is thrilled to announce the autumn release of Little Big Adventure – Twinsen's Quest, a modernized reimagining of the beloved 1994 action-adventure classic. This updated version, developed by 2.21 and published by Microids, will retain the original's captivating atmosphere while boasting significant enhancements for a contemporary gaming experience.

The project builds upon the legacy of Adeline Software International, founded by Infogrames alumni and the creators of the original Little Big Adventure and its sequel. While Adeline is no longer operational, the spirit of their innovative work lives on.

Little Big Adventure – Twinsen's Quest offers players a revitalized journey to Twinsun. Expect stunning new visuals, refined gameplay mechanics, and a re-imagined level design. Twinsen's signature weapon receives an upgrade, and the game features a fresh artistic direction and a new soundtrack composed by the original's Philippe Vachey, renowned for his work on the Alone in the Dark series. The compelling narrative, featuring deep thematic elements, remains at the heart of this re-release.

The game sees Twinsen battling Dr. Funfrock, a scientist whose cloning and teleportation technologies have plunged Twinsun into chaos. Twinsen must overcome intricate puzzles, formidable enemies, and Dr. Funfrock's tyrannical rule to restore harmony to the planet.

Following previous releases on GOG, Android, and iOS, Little Big Adventure – Twinsen's Quest will launch this year on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG). This marks the culmination of years of development by 2.21, spearheaded by co-creator Didier Chanfray, known for his work on Time Commando. Prepare for an unforgettable return to Twinsun.
