Osmos is back on Google Play with a brand-new port after a brief absence

Osmos, the acclaimed cell-absorbing puzzle game, is back on Android! Previously removed due to compatibility issues that hindered updates, it's now been relaunched by developer Hemisphere Games with a completely revamped port.

Remember the unique physics-based gameplay? Absorb other microorganisms while avoiding the same fate! This simple yet captivating puzzle game was a hit, but Android users had been unable to enjoy it—until now.

Years after its 2010 debut, Osmos returns to Google Play, optimized for modern Android devices. Experience this micro-organic battle royale like never before.

Hemisphere Games explained in a blog post that the original Android version, developed with Apportable, became difficult to update following Apportable's closure. The game was subsequently removed due to incompatibility with older 32-bit systems. This new release features a completely rebuilt port.
