Fossil Pokémon have been a staple of the Pokémon franchise since its inception. In Pokémon Red and Blue, players unearthed Dome and Helix Fossils, bringing Kabuto and Omanyte to life. However, Sword and Shield deviated from this tradition, presenting players with fragmented fossil remains of creatures resembling fish and birds. Combining these fragments with the help of Cara Liss yielded Arctozolt, Arctovish, Dracozolt, and Dracovish.
Despite the absence of new Fossil Pokémon since Generation VIII, the Galar region's ancient creatures continue to inspire fan creativity. Reddit user IridescentMirage shared their artistic interpretation of these Pokémon in their pristine forms, introducing Lyzolt, Razovish, Dracosaurus, and Arctomaw. These creations boast secondary types – Electric, Water, Dragon, and Ice respectively – and abilities like Strong Jaw and Adaptability, enhancing both their visual appeal and battle potential. Arctomaw stands out with an impressive base stat total of 560, boasting a remarkable 150 in physical attack.

IridescentMirage's vision also introduces a novel "Primal" type, inspired by the Past Paradox Pokémon from Pokémon Scarlet and a personal Pokémon action RPG project.
