Marvel Contest of Champions' Murderworld event is here, bringing new challenges and characters! Running until August 7th, this update includes the X-Magica Showcase, the Spring of Sorrow Gauntlet, bug fixes, and balance adjustments.
Murderworld: Arcade's Deadly Amusement Park
Arcade, the master of twisted theme parks, has arrived in The Contest. His Murderworlds are designed for both entertainment and annihilation. He aims for a high score—the number of Champions he can defeat. Players must outsmart Arcade or team up to overcome his lethal carnival.
New Champions: Patriot and The Leader
The Raft, the Battlerealm's maximum-security prison, is in lockdown due to gamma radiation. The Summoner intervenes, encountering Patriot amidst the chaos. Meanwhile, The Leader uses his gamma-enhanced intellect to control friends and foes.
Patriot (Eli Bradley), grandson of a Super Soldier and co-founder of the Young Avengers, joins the fight on July 18th. The Leader (Samuel Sterns), a former chemical plant worker transformed into a super-genius by a gamma explosion, arrives on August 1st. He's a villainous mastermind and the Hulk's arch-nemesis.
