Phantom Blade Zero Release Date Rumored to be 2026

Author : Oliver Apr 01,2025

The highly anticipated next installment in the Phantom Blade ARPG series, Phantom Blade Zero, is rumored to be targeting a release in the fall of 2026. This information comes from the well-known video game content creator and YouTuber, JorRaptor, who shared his hands-on experience with the game. In his recent video, JorRaptor mentioned that S-Game, the developer behind the Wuxia-inspired series, informed him of their aim to launch the game more than two years from now, pointing towards a potential release around late summer or fall of 2026.

While this news has sparked excitement among fans, it's crucial to remember that S-Game has not officially confirmed the release date or window for Phantom Blade Zero. Since the game was first unveiled over a year ago, the developer has kept details about the timeline under wraps. Fans are eagerly awaiting more concrete information.

Phantom Blade Zero is in development for both PS5 and PC. Having been in the works since 2022, the game has already garnered attention for its action-packed gameplay and distinctive ancient world art style. Demos of the game have been showcased at various gaming events this summer, including Summer Game Fest in June and ChinaJoy in Shanghai at the end of July.

S-Game is set to attend Gamescom, taking place from August 21-25, where they will offer demo playthroughs of Phantom Blade Zero. Following this, the game's demo will also be featured at the Tokyo Game Show at the end of September. With these upcoming events, more detailed announcements about the game's release and development progress are expected.

While JorRaptor's insights are intriguing, it's wise to approach this information cautiously until S-Game provides official updates. Keep an eye on Gamescom for potential new details on Phantom Blade Zero.
