Pokémon Presents Event Coming Next Week

Author : Emily Mar 27,2025

The Pokémon Company has exciting news for fans: a Pokémon Presents event is scheduled to provide updates on the beloved franchise. Set for February 27, 2025, in celebration of Pokémon Day, the event will be streamed live on the Pokémon YouTube channel at 6am Pacific / 9am Eastern / 2pm UK. While the exact content remains a mystery, enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating news about the next mainline Pokémon game, which has yet to be officially announced. The company has already teased fans with the upcoming spin-off, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, slated for release in 2025, but details on the next "generation" of Pokémon are still under wraps.

These Pokémon Presents events are known for covering a wide range of updates, including developments in ongoing games like Pokémon Unite, Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon Masters EX. Additionally, we can expect to hear more about the recently launched Pokémon TCG Pocket, as well as updates on the physical Pokémon Trading Card Game.

Reflecting on last year's event, which took place around the same time, it unveiled the new Pokémon Legends game, announced Tera Raid Battle events for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and shared news about the Pokémon Trading Card Game coming to mobile devices. Notably, 2024 marked a departure from tradition with only one Pokémon Presents event and no major Pokémon game release, the first such occurrence since 2015.
