Pokémon Sleep is bringing Cresselia to the roster to fight against Darkrai

Author : Charlotte Mar 22,2025

The world of Pokémon Sleep is about to get a whole lot more interesting—or perhaps a little spooky. Cresselia, the Legendary Pokémon famed for its dream-inducing powers, is making its debut in a thrilling two-week event against Darkrai, the Pokémon of nightmares.

This "Cresselia vs. Darkrai" event runs from March 31st to April 14th. During this period, you'll have a significantly higher chance of encountering Cresselia during your sleep research, particularly in Greengrass Isle, Snowdrop Tundra, or Lapis Lakeside.

Befriending Cresselia grants you access to its Lunar Blessing skill. This helpful ability restores your team's energy and provides bonus Berries—the bonus increases with the number of Psychic-type Pokémon buddies you have. Remember, only one Special Pokémon like Cresselia can be on your team at a time, so choose wisely!

ytThis global event challenges players to combat the nightmares spread by Darkrai. From March 31st to April 14th, Cresselia will be working overtime to counteract Darkrai's influence, helping rescue Pokémon afflicted by bad dreams. By boosting your Drowsy Power with Cresselia on your team, you contribute to the global effort and fight off those pesky nightmares.

Collecting Cresselia Down allows you to exchange it for special items like Cresselia Incense and Biscuits, earning you exclusive event rewards. And here’s a tantalizing possibility: if the global community generates enough Event Drowsy Power, you might even befriend Darkrai itself! Imagine adding the master of nightmares to your dream team.
