January's Community Day Classic: Ralts Takes Center Stage

Pokemon GO Community Day Classic for January 2025 Announced

On January 25th, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (local time), trainers will have a heightened chance of encountering Ralts, including its shiny form.

A special research story for Ralts is available for $2 USD. Completing it rewards a Premium Battle Pass, a Rare Candy XL, and three Ralts encounters with Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds.

Pokemon GO Community Day Classic for January 2025 Announced

Evolving Ralts into Kirlia during the event (or within five hours afterward) unlocks Gardevoir or Gallade with the powerful Charged Attack "Synchronoise" (80 power in Trainer Battles, Gyms, and Raids).

Timed Research offers 4 Sinnoh Stones and a Ralts encounter with a Dual Destiny-themed background. Unlike the main Community Day, this research lasts a week post-event.

Event Bonuses include:

  • 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance
  • 3-hour Lure Modules and Incense duration
  • Snapshot surprises!

Pokemon GO Community Day Classic for January 2025 Announced

An Ultra Community Day Box ($4.99 USD) containing 10 Ultra Balls, 1 Elite Charged TM, and a Special Research ticket will be available on the Pokémon GO Web Store starting January 21st, 2025, at 10:00 AM (local time).

Two in-game Community Day bundles will also be offered:

  • 1,350 PokéCoins: 50 Ultra Balls, 5 Super Incubators, 1 Elite Charged TM, 5 Lucky Eggs
  • 480 PokéCoins: 30 Ultra Balls, 1 Incense, 3 Super Incubators, 1 Lure Module

Pokemon GO Community Day Classic for January 2025 Announced

Niantic's monthly Community Day Classic features a different Pokémon each month (e.g., November 2024 featured Mankey). These events offer increased encounter rates for the featured Pokémon (including shiny variants) and an exclusive move upon evolution. Additional bonuses, such as reduced egg hatching distances, are also common. December's event is a two-day special featuring multiple Pokémon.
