Japanese YouTuber Hajimesyacho took to Twitter (X) to share his impressive milestone of collecting 50,000 cards in Pokémon TCG Pocket. Known for his diverse content ranging from product reviews to vlogs and challenges, Hajimesyacho's dedication to the game is truly noteworthy.

On January 19, 2025, Hajimesyacho announced his rare achievement: he had collected 50,000 cards by purchasing the maximum amount of Poké Gold available every day since the mobile game's launch on October 30, 2024. The daily limit for Poké Gold purchases is 720, which costs around $100 per day. Over the 85 days the game has been live, Hajimesyacho has spent an estimated $8,500.

The latest card released, a Trainer card named Pokedex, enables players to view the top three cards of their deck. This card was awarded to players in celebration of reaching 40 billion cards collected worldwide in Pokémon TCG Pocket.

This collaboration offers 15 physical cards, including Miraidon, Roaring Moon, Rayquaza, and more. Seven of these cards are "holo" or "foil" cards, featuring a glossy and reflective finish. Additionally, TCG Pocket players can redeem 24 Pack Hourglasses and 12 Hourglasses, which can be used to open booster packs and select a single card from Wonder Pick.

An item must be consumed to facilitate the trade, similar to how Stardust is used in Pokémon GO.
